Water You Doing? fixes and known issues
Each item links to the Steam thread it came from and is labelled either developer reply or player report, because the two are not equally reliable. Most of this relates to the demo build, which is the only version anyone has played so far.

Launch and installation
Error 0x11c7 on launch
developer replyThe developer attributes this to Smart App Control, Windows Defender or third-party antivirus blocking the game, common on work or school machines, or to corrupted files, in which case reinstalling resolves it.

Performance
The demo runs worse than the full game will
developer replyA player reported an RTX 5090 running at full load with the demo open. The developer replied that the demo build is far less optimised than the full release, and suggested capping frame rate in the settings meanwhile.
“Demo version is severly unoptimized in comparison to full release”

Comfort and accessibility
Motion sickness and the wave motion
developer replySeveral players reported motion sickness. The developer pointed to the existing motion-blur toggle and said they would consider an option to disable waves entirely, while explicitly not promising it because it may interfere with network replication.

Co-op issues
Joined players stuck in the boat's seat after a respawn
player reportA player described a host-and-friend session where the boat was destroyed after a checkpoint; the friend respawned directly into a seat and could not stand up, and rejoining did not clear it. The developer asked for reproduction details in the thread but has not confirmed a cause or a fix.

Fixed since the demo
A demo fishing bug is already fixed
developer replyA player could not fish at all in the demo. The developer replied that it has been fixed in the full version.
“it's been fixed in full version”

Context for the list above
Two things you can check in the threads yourself: the demo has been public since June 15, and the developer replies to individual bug reports and asks for reproduction steps. What you read into that is your call.
Two of the demo problems have been marked fixed for the full version by the developer, and the difficulty complaints drew a specific reply: more checkpoints and more repair materials on the map. See the demo page for the full list of stated differences.
Reporting something new
The Steam discussion board for the game is the place the developer actually reads. When reporting a co-op bug, include who was hosting, whether a checkpoint had been passed, and what each player was doing. That is exactly the detail they asked for in the seat-lock thread.
Common problems
+How do I fix error 0x11c7 in Water You Doing?
The developer attributes 0x11c7 to Smart App Control, Windows Defender or third-party antivirus blocking the game, which is common on work or school PCs, or to corrupted files. Allow the game through your security software, or reinstall it.
+Why does Water You Doing make me motion sick?
The game keeps you on moving water for its entire run. Turning off motion blur in the settings is the developer's current suggestion. They have said they will consider an option to disable waves completely but have not promised it, because it may interfere with network replication.
+Why is my GPU at 100% in the demo?
The developer has stated the demo build is significantly less optimised than the full release. Setting a maximum frame rate in the game's settings reduces GPU load in the meantime.
