The $5.99 figure is our arithmetic, not the studio’s. They published the list price and the discount percentage; 25% off $7.99 is $5.99. Steam rounds some regional prices differently, so treat it as the expected figure rather than a quoted one. The exact date the discount lapses was not stated either — “10 days” from a 26 August launch lands on or about 5 September.
Why the store page still shows nothing
Steam does not put a price on an unreleased product page, so checking the store today tells you nothing. That gap is the whole reason this page exists: the number has been public since 17 August, but only inside an announcement post most people never open.
